Between 22 - 24 June 2017 the LMDA held its annual conference in Berkeley, California, focusing on the topics of: Art, Access & Activism. Not only is Berkeley part of the greater San Francisco Bay Area’s large and vibrant performing arts scene, it has a deep bench of activist history, from birthing the Free Speech Movement in the 1960s to pioneering the Organic Food Revolution that continues to this day. It is the perfect place to talk access, activism and art, and to take action not just here, but in theatre communities all over the Americas.
