about

What does it mean to be a dramaturg working with new writing today?

This online Q&A with the Royal Court’s Senior Dramaturg and Associate Playwright, Gillian Greer, will explore her approach to developing new plays at the Royal Court and beyond, the practical tools she uses to support writers day-to-day, how artistic risk-taking is balanced with meaningful care for artists and audiences, and her perspective on the future of new writing.

This online discussion will be chaired by d’n Board Member Lee Anderson. Those attending are invited to submit questions for Gillian in advance when booking a ticket for this online event. There will also be time for questions during the event itself.
